Figurative & Abstract Sculpture- Heather Woodson
Artist Heather Woodson will share with you how to turn a thought, concept, or idea into a 3-dimensional object. Learn how to represent body language, gestures, facial expressions, and settings through form, surface design, and finishing. Students will learn the basic technique of how to sculpt the human face to express emotions and thoughts.

Illustration & Drawing- Richard Bernal
Learn the process of illustration as well as techniques of drawing from life or from photograph.
Be inspired by stories - your own or another's - or just learn to draw representational works. In this class, the student will learn a variety of styles, media and techniques needed to make your drawing or illustration complete. (6 week session)

Metals: Jewelry - Sherri Jaudes
This course is an introduction to techniques of cutting, joining, and finishing metal jewelry. Content includes learning the 7 basic joints of metalsmithing by using a torch and completing one or more projects using these techniques. The class can accommodate advanced students who wish to develop their skills.

Wednesdays, March 21 - April 25 6:30 - 9pm
Painting (Oil and Acrylic)
Students will be introduced to painting from life and painting portraiture while working with oil or acrylic paints. Underpainting techniques, the utilization of a medium with oil paints and color mixing are only some of the concepts you will learn in this class. This class is for those who are just beginning or would like to get back into painting. (6 week session)

Pastels - Barbara Remely Martin
Using pastels in a painterly method, students will become more familiar with color, texture, under-painted supports and various types of pastels. Each class will include color exercises, painting demonstrations and painting time. Still-life and photographic references are used with an emphasis on skill development and understanding color combinations. (6 week session)

Pottery Wheel- Heather Woodson
Want to try the pottery wheel, but a little nervous of slinging mud? Or, are you an expert and just need a wheel on which to practice? Take this introductory-expert pottery wheel course, and you'll be astounded at what you can create. Students will walk away with finished glazed ceramic pieces. (6 week session)

Watercolors- Beverly Hoffman
Come paint with professional watercolor artist and instructor Beverly Hoffman. Paint an array of subjects including still life, landscape, figures or your own unique theme. This class will teach each student how to reach their own goals in watercolor. The second session could serve as an introductory class or a continuation of the first session (7 week session).
