ARTIST OPPORTUNITIES
Attention Artists!
The Gallery at Chesterfield Arts has expanded our Boutique space. We are currently seeking artists interested in exhibiting in our new cases. We are looking for jewelry, fabric, clay, glass, metal and other small fine art pieces. Please send 3 images and a short bio to Heather Woodson, heather@chesterfieldarts.org for consideration.
The Details:
*All artists will be posted on our website with links to their website.
*Chesterfield Arts will retain a 30% commission on all sales.
*Inventory will be switched out every 3 months.
*A maximum of 5 artists will be exhibited at a time.
*Select artists will be given the opportunity to host workshops or demonstrations at Chesterfield arts.
The City of Chesterfield is offering artists the opportunity to sell and showcase their work for two great events this upcoming summer. More information, guidelines, and the application form for "Cityfest" and "Forks and Corks" are located below.
INTERNSHIPS
Chesterfield Arts seeks qualified candidates for spring, summer and fall internship opportunities. Applicants are accepted on a rolling basis.
Programming/Marketing Internship
This internship offers a valuable experience for candidates interested in arts administration, marketing and public relations, and event planning. Interns will work closely with the Director of Programming & Marketing to plan, execute and promote a variety of initiatives, including public performances, gallery exhibitions and special events. Job responsibilities will include developing promotional materials for exhibitions, programming and events, as well as organizing a variety of material including press contacts, press placements, and other correspondence. Interns will also have the opportunity to attend a variety of industry-related meetings and special events, as well as actively participate in brainstorming sessions within the organization.
Requirements: Must be able to use up to date Microsoft Office programs, Adobe Creative Suite, Mac operating system and familiar with social media sites such as Facebook and Twitter.

Education Internship
This internship offers a valuable experience for candidates interested in arts administration and arts education. Interns will work closely with the Director of Education & Outreach to plan, execute and promote a variety of educational programs, including classes for children and adults, special events and partnerships with area school districts. Interns will assist in organizing workshops and developing a variety of educational materials, including class curriculum and promotional flyers. In addition, interns will be responsible for administrative tasks such as faxing, filing, copying, compiling and collating. Interns will also have the opportunity to attend a variety of industry-related meetings and special events, as well as actively participate in brainstorming sessions within the organization.
Requirements: Must be able and willing to work with all ages especially children, use up to date Microsoft Office programs, Mac operating system.

Gallery and Curator Internship
This internship offers a valuable experience for candidates interested in gallery mangement and curating exhibits. Interns will work closely with Exhibition Coordinator to plan, lay out, and curate various exhibits held in The Gallery At Chesterfield Arts and Sachs Branch Library. Interns will also assist in marketing and promoting each exhibit as well as attending and hosting opening receptions. Interns will also have the opportunity to attend a variety of industry related meetings and special events, while actively participate in brainstorming sessions within the organization.
Requirements: Must be familiar with basic design concepts, hanging techniques and hand tools. Strong candidates will also need experience with Mac operating systems, Microsoft Office programs and social media sites like Facebook and Twitter. Experience with Adobe Creative Suite a plus.
