Art in the Park[ing Lot] 2008

June 13-14, 2008

Art in the Park[ing Lot] is a community art fair, presented by Chesterfield Arts, every year on Father's Day weekend. The event features art booths featuring regional artists, hands-on art activities for children and adults, performances, workshops and more. Started in 2002 as a way to showcase the local artistic talent to audiences in West County and beyond, it has grown from a small one-day event into a two-day festival, with more than 3500 in attendance last year.  New for 2008 - Art in the Park becomes Art in the Park[ing Lot]!  The event will move from Faust Park to the area directly between Chesterfield Arts and the Chesterfield Mall.  This higher visibility location will be an exciting change and bring an even bigger audience growth in 2008.

2008 Jurors

Sarah Colby, mixed media artist and Arts + Healthcare Coordinator for Barnes-Jewish Hospital

John Cross, regional painter and Art Studio Technician at St. Charles Community College

Robin Hirsch, Associate Director at Art St. Louis

Artist Level Membership COMING SOON!

Chesterfield Arts is pleased to announce a new Artist membership level for 2008.  In addition to the great benefits offered as a standard member of Chesterfield Arts, the new Artist Level will provide services specifically geared toward fostering and promoting the success of regional artists.

The Artist level is open to regional artists (residing within a 100-mile radius of St. Louis) of all disciplines and skill levels. Stay tuned to our website for the official launch of the Artist Level Membership, coming later this year.

Visit our membership page for more information about our current membership levels.

The Gallery at Chesterfield Arts is committed to showcasing the talent of artists from our region.  We present 6 to 7 exhibitions per year in a variety of media, normally showcasing a group of artists in each exhibition.  Chesterfield Arts also presents regional artists in exhibits at the Sachs Branch of the St. Louis County Library.

If you are interested in submitting your work for consideration in an upcoming exhibit, please submit the following:
